The Black Hand through informants has recently became aware of the Fear cast by the lack of chairs. Expect to spend most of your time standing around campfires. Those seen sitting will most likely be precipitants in the work of great evil.

An all seriousness . . . you'd think that Jack and Otto would get a little bit angry at having to replace the benches every couple of days. Unless Jack doesn't really mind having to pay someone to do it. It probably doesn't cut into profits all that much . . .

As for breaking the chairs in the inn . . . if that really happened I'd imagine that unless it happened in a bar fight (or even if it did) the perpetrators are likely not very welcome there.

I blame all the characters who wear heavy armor and sit on the benches. Clearly, the weight is crushing them. I'm sure the moisture of the valley isn't helping, damn rain. These are my main concerns.

Keeping on topic, I don't think its necessary. The chair destruction LATELY has been semi-frequent. However, it usually is not that bad overall. It also makes for a funny scene setup where everyone is forced to sit around on rugs, complaining about the serial chair murderers.
