Colibrus factions store

I didn't mean for it to sound mean. I apologize for that. I think I see why it never got changed over now. Since the Colibrii are now a subfaction of the Black Hand, then I suppose it would make since to give them their own subfaction store now.

I don't mind if we wanna keep bonus stores (though I think the store needs a few more items). We could even institute bonus stores in the factions we want to be the most active as an extra incentive. For example, if we really want to put the focus on the Triumvirate versus Colibrii (rather then just the general Arbitor's versus Black Hand) we could make a special bonus store catering to paladins of the Triumvirate, while the Colibrii bonus store caters specifically to vampires or vampire-themed PC's.

Ran into this recently. Anyway to earn Colibrus? Because I bought a set of the Bone Melders, and need an IG refund otherwise, just talked to Cornuto.

I also just happened across this thread, and know for a fact that only members of the Black Hand: Children of Colibrus subfaction are allowed to view the store, as a Black Hand: Black Hand subfaction member recently went there to make use of the bonus store because he actually has Children of Colibrus rep, but the vendor wouldn't talk to him.

If the store is intended to be a bonus store for people with Children of Colibrus rep, and not a subfaction store as outlined here, maybe you should fix it so that anyone can view the store?

Only Colibrus worshipers can view the store. Not other Black Hand members with Colibrus rep. My Banite has higher Colibrus rep then my Colibrus worshiper and my Banite can not use the store.

I can view the store and buy items, but the armor I bought I still can not wear even though I have the rep for it. It is supposed to be this way?

This is what I ran into. I thought all factions had two store merchants, and this being the second, I saved up and bought the armor, but even with the rep requirement, I can't put the bloody armor. (no pun intended)

What this thread is saying, is that there are TWO different factions. One is the black hand, which has its store. The other is the Children of Colibrus, which is not a subfaction, and uses different rep. So you do not have the rep with the Colibrii needed to use the armor.

When this thread was new I had done the same thing, and sadly even Vampire PC's lacked the Rep to use most/any of the items. Unless the store was redone at some point, there is probably very few items worth it anyway, which is probably why not many bring the issue up.

All I can say, blame GBX. He wanted a special store for people who ONLY had Colibrus specific rep, as Thief says even though CoC is a subfaction of the black hand, the store uses separate faction points.

The intent was to make a more exclusive store that people can only get by doing things specific for the faction. As this was something GBX designed intentionally I haven't changed it.

Regardless of whether the items suck (I'm guessing they do from what everyone says), if the intent was to make it a bonus store accessible to people who got rep through a DM with the Colibrus faction, restricting the conversation to only open the store for Black Hand Colibrites is indeed a bug.

So... do we want to fix the conversation to let everyone access it, or fix the store so that it the rep requirements are for Black Hand Colibrites?

I would like to be able to wear some of it. I mean, there is better stuff I suppose, but certain builds like my bard could indeed use it. I just can't put it on

If so then the idem is just broken and you are the first to actually try to wear one.

OK, I just looked at your picture again. You show Black Hand rep. Scroll down further and there is separate Colibrus rep. Guessing everyone knows this and I'm just behind..
