Alright, good to know.
As for walking around them, the only path I've seen is an extremely narrow path between two traps, which requires ridiculous precision to navigate through. It would be easy enough with the WSAD keys but it lags half of the time you try to use them. The ones in Ixis Isles, anyway. I know the ones in the Veritas halls are very easy to avoid.

Get yourself a rogue; the arcane trickster PrC is very good if you wish to have versitile skills combined with a 10D6 lightning conductor.

Obsidian did release a patch to make it easier on the memory...or something. Might just be because of my crappy college dorm internet too.
