Linen or lack there of

Recently I have like many others followed a path that would allow me to craft items and make the worlds a colorful place . Sadly I have also in that time come to the realization that linen cloth is a severe rarity. Its availability is pretty much limited to the first person at exigo trading camp at 1 am EST right after a server reset.

One would think with the over abundance of bandages that are dropped that perhaps the gnolls and goblins on this server have a secret stash some where that they convert to wraps.

Or maybe the two clothing shops on this server have some black market operation that delivers linen to them under cover of darkness and they have been sworn to silence as to its existance.

I think with the number of crafters on this server that an alternative source should be added

Silk too. The previous daily ration of 4 has also been cut to 1/reset.

Silk is not the same as the Shadow Silk found in the spider cave, and last I tried, it was not interchangeable with regular silk.

AFAIK, Shadow Silk can only be used to create magical clothing and armor after being treated by an by a rather expensive imbuement. I heard details of the imbument but not heard anything about patterns that actually call for it.

I'm pretty sure both normal Silk and Shadow Silk drop from the spiders. I can't say anything about the drop chance though since I wasn't involved in the killing.

You get 1-2 silk cloth every time you kill the spider queen, and getting silk from the rest of the cave is rare at best. I got the shadow silk from the dusk spiders, but lately i never see them spawn, so i've only ever gotten one shadow silk. But i would like to see Linen cloth more available to you crafters. Makes me sad when I want some clothing made for me, and the tailor needs at least a week to get the three linen cloth he needs.

It must be luck, and I have never paid attention to which spiders drop the shadow silk, but every time I have gone in, I have gotten shadow silk. I have never survived facing the queen, usually get my stone skin or other defences nibbled away in 3 rounds or so by all the other spiders that descend on you then.
