Scroll cases

Is it possible to get scroll cases implemented ala the crafting books we have?

It would be handy to not have to carry all my scrolls loose in my inventory, but have a place I could put them until I need them.

While it is being revamped, a crafting case would be nice too. Some place to put dressing dummys, molds, hammers, picks, sewing kits, skinning and wood working knives.

Dyes, cloth, planks and ingots too, maybe, would be nice, but maybe to much.

It would be nice to pick up one bag/box from your inn and take it to the crafting location than have to make multiple trips because you remembered the dummy, but forgot the body mold, or sewing kit, or salted water, or hammer.

Unfortunately while scroll cases, dye belts, ore boxes, silk holders and so on might be wanted, they are still considered a storage device - Stick one in another storage device and it's a toss up between corrupting your .bic, exploding the server, getting Lauan pregnant, or simply loosing everything that was in the container you were trying to store.

Sadly folks, this isn't going to happen - containers cannot be put into containers - This is the reason all your recipe books cannot be dropped or given away.

I think the OP was saying that it would be nice to have a case for spell scrolls. So like all your weapon recipes, armor recipes, etc, you can place your five scrolls of sending or whatnot in a case.

Sigh, Yes I noticed this in another thread just after I posted. Still a place in your inventory to condense this stuff would be useful even if you can not unload it into your chest as one object.

I didn't mean to be quite as abrupt as that - Containers in general tend to be avoided due to the potential for screaming tentacled horror - I guess scroll cases could be an option, however they wouldn't be storable or dropable in any way if such a thing was implemented.

The other draw back with scroll storage (afaik anyway - could be wrong) is you can't quickbar them for use. But the OP has a valid point - it would make inventory management a lot easier!

I suspect GBX would be able to say yay/nay when he returns.

Any chance of just making mundane bags/containers that are also undroppable/unstorable? My inventory is taken up by bundles of arrows and other useless junk I need, but can't do without.

There are bags but they seem to be really rare and DO NOT put them in another storage devise!
