  • arrange inventory button for PS

I could REALLY benefit from a button in the "pesistant storage" UI that reorganizes the contents. There is one in the character inventory UI.

Unless there is some other way to keep stuff straight in there... thing looks like my toy chest when I was a child.... and no I don't have a toy chest anymore... I do have a floor though... perhaps I should invest in a new toy chest......hmmm.

Or just add in boxes and let the DMFi tool rename the box so we can organize stuff ourselves. Make 'em weigh >100lbs if you don't want players carrying them around, but they are one big thing I miss from NWN1 PWs I played on.

Anal as I am about inventory management, I don't feel the amount of work required to do something like this would really pay out. Afaik, NWN2 won't allow you to have a container within a container, so boxes within boxes won't work.

As far as an organising button would go, I don't know how tough that would be to script, so I would have to defer to the devs to answer that one.

putting a container such as a bag or box into a chest will cause the instant destruction of the container you're trying to put in, and every item that it contained.

This is better than the previous situation where adding one container to another caused the server to crash instantly.

There is a reason that bags are as rare as really rare things on Sundren.

I'd say even rarer than that. *nods sagely*

Also. There are other catostrophic effects to putting containers inside containers that I've experienced first hand. It's a very, very bad idea!

Last time Gamling tried it, Gamling got pregnant.
