    Gate spell

    Was wondering if there would be the possiblity of adding a "Good guy" Gate spell so that it does not make it worthless. Summoning a Horned devil really sucks its the only option for good guys making it useless. Perhaps something from a upper plane?

    Chaotic good:eladrin
    Lawful good: Planetar
    Neutral good: not sure on neutral good

    These are just idea's. i am not really sure on plane creatures, not my fortei , but i thought this be a cool idea to toss in.

    Wouldn't really make sense as the summon is supposed to attack you if you keep it out too long. Neutral Good creatures attacking not good...

      Gate in itself isn't a spell that mages would / should throw round easily. It's described as "the mage's final spell in a desperate situation".

        To usually summon a planar creature , demon. Dont you usally have to offer them something, some kind of payment? I thought that is what keeps the creature on our plane or something to that degree. figured it falls the same way with good. If a cleric of good is being attacked by a demon that has been summoned. Figured it only made sence that a archeon of their diety or plane, would be capable of being summoned to defend against the demon.

        *shrug* i may be thinking to hard and blowing brain cells

          It can be used to call a creature for 1 round / caster level without a contract. However, this spell does cost 1000 exp to call a creature. You can optionally pay some service to keep the creature longer and other crud.

          Usually it's used to open a warp between worlds.
