A horrible affair happened today.
After Cirion helped Juggra to mine himself some Adamantine I returrned the favour and helped Cirion by mining him some Mithril.
You lucky B****rd! I said in a tell right before I clicked to collect the proceeds and leave.
I turned around to enter the barter screen and hand him the 4 nougats of mithril Juggra had just pulled out of the vein and then to my horror found I did not have them.
I've posted this as a bug: http://www.sundren.org/forum/project.php?issueid=701
As I'm sure I did click to collect the ore but it made me worried whether I had clicked on the right option. Had i just exited and made the mithril evaporate? I was sure I hadn't but then still worried.
It got us talking how easy it could be in the high pressure dangerous areas where you get the good stuff, you might click the wrong option and loose your proceeds.
Who is gonna spend 8 points on crafting fatigue and NOT collect whatever they find no matter how worthless it might be?
It makes no sense for there to be even an option to not collect.
The suggestion is that whatever you are mining does actually enter into your inventory as you mine.
If you don't want it then you can always drop it or bin it later.
The option to NOT collect can only lead to one thing and that is accidentally not collecting your ore or gems.
It's a horrible thing because now I'm all fatigued out and Cirion has lost his ore. I got mine and I am now left with doubt as to whether it was my fault or not.
OMGZ now I have guilt! I don't need guilt in my life at the moment.
