I remember cooking food (for my wizard!) on another server. It didn't have a fancy profession skill, but it was fun from time to time to show off your high roll. Back then food and bedrolls were needed to rest. Sidetracking, those could be the conditions that'd improve the results of your rest?
Sidetracking again, I've known people who fell asleep during events..

I would definitely be against having to eat, drink, or have a mat to rest. I have been on too many servers where you had to spend your precious few coin as a newb to buy a bedroll and a rat on a stick just to survive the first couple hours of play.
It also gets annoying while you are trying to roleplay a large and long event.

I've got several spies that can't do their job because of the afk-porting lol. Sometimes, they HAVE to hold still and not post anything, but just listen to secret conversations. If they move, they trigger a Listen check in others.sigpic

Sending /tells should work too. So if your spies spam you with tells there shouldn't be a problem
Then again, a lot of things have gone wonky in the past few days, it seems.. There might be a malfunction somewhere.Comment
