Strange Happenings in the Viridale

Two elves talk briefly at the Four Lanterns Inn.

"I should be alright here until whatever that was in the Viridale gets sorted out"

Caelryth looks at Elusa, "Yea. I spoke with a group earlier at the Glade who said they saw a Vampire as well. I've heard of them getting this far, but this is the first time I had one ramble on like that."

Elusa gives a Caelryth a hug, "I'm tired, I'm going to get some rest. Be safe, Caelryth."

The elf smiles, "Yea, I can avoid late night walks in the forest by myself for a bit. Rest well Elusa."

With that, the warlock walked away whistling.

Hoth hears part of the conversation and sets down his ale.
He stands up and speaks loudly to anyone who will listen. Eyes turn toward him as he tells his story.

"It's true! Me and some mates were hunting gnolls and goblins in the forest when these bats came flapping by." " So we goes and follow 'em and one of the bats turns into a lady!" "She was a sneering at us with her big teeth flashing and she seemed quite confident of her superiority thats for sure." She started telling us riddles that didn't make alot of sense, sounded like she was injured in the head if you asked me." The one thing I got out of her rambling was something about we better submit, we might be doomed if we did and for sure if we don't, oh and we might be food or something like that." Crazy talk, but then look at the source, a bat lady!"

Hoth sits back down and tilts back his ale. Eyes turn away from him and conversation starts back up.
