Those who frequent areas outside of Sundren City proper are likely to overhear the following tales:
- In the Ranger Outpost, Crossroads, and other areas where hunters collect, tales of lone naga surface. The hunters know this is unusual behavior for naga to be alone, even without taking recent events into consideration.
In some cases, the naga spotted the hunters. They made aggressive moves, but vanished into the forest without a fight.
The most intriguing of stories tell of these naga fighting their cousins in the forest. The numbers are fuzzy and exaggurated, but most of these stories state the naga were attacked by larger parties of yuan-ti and large lizards. In all stories, the naga lived; some stories say they ran, while others state they slew the yuan-ti. However, one would be hard-pressed to find a witness to these stories to validate them.
- Tales around Mirakus and Aquor speak of the Sestra Corsairs--not just of heroics, but also of misdeeds.
They have been regularly raiding Sestra, using hit-and-run type tactics to fight the reptile army. In many cases, they have recovered valuables for citizens. Some say they've been striking at the crystals that now decorate the town.
Sadly, there are other rumors of the Corsairs abusing their power in camp. Not everyone is happy with the militia, with tales of thuggish behavior and mutany among their own ranks.
