  • Gone off the deepend?

Not long after her incarceration in Sestra, Cybil Gelley was seen entering the Temple Barraks of the Triumvirate and exiting sometime later... with two large, heavy stones about her neck, tied together by a rope.

Although she was moving slowly, and looked to be having a great deal of trouble with them, she has refused all help and seems.... happy to be carrying them! Many are perplexed by this behaviour. Has she finally lost her mind? Or is this some sort of punishment for her actions in Sestra? Or something more odd?
Bree - Bookkeeper and diplomat of Exigo.

Becky Dragonhin - Sword of the Loyal Fury, Knight of the Triad... the only Good hin in Sundren???
    Cybil Gelley (Retired)
Perry Turnipfodder - aspiring talent, happy chronicler.

    "Pathetic"

Eira happily describes her views on Cybils new neckwear to those she meets, whether they want to hear it or not..

“This is what the Ilmatarians do.. They claim to help, to alleviate pain.. but all the while they mock those who truly suffer.”

“What use is a soft voice and wet rag to a dieing man? Comfort? Mockery? They'll sit by and watch the people suffer and die and offer nothing but condescending murmurs and patronising tones.”

“She wears those stones for nothing but herself, her selfish need for the approval of her peers.. Imagine all those of the triumvirate sitting around in warm rooms on plush cushions drinking wine and eating good food while praising her for her dedication to making herself suffer. She seeks glory from those she see's as above her, while showing nothing but contempt for those she see's as below”

“Does her carrying of these stones help anyone but herself? Does it put food in the mouths of the starving? Does it heal the lame and crippled? Does it house the homeless or give gold to the destitute? No..”

“She and her kin make a mockery of anyone who truly suffers. When it comes to it she didn't even have the strength of mind or body to protect the contents of her own womb. Do you think she'll do any better for you?”
    Eira Skald - Icy bitch.
Karsten Mannerheim - Idealist and murderer.
Vincent Hopkins - Witch Hunter and man of faith.
Aedan Gilter - Dreamer of broken dreams.
Henry L. Jones - Oh god, I can see forever.

Peligiri walks past the weighted Cybil Gelley and sighs, breathing a word of comfort to himself: "These humans and their gods"

"She's strong..." Says de joyful elf girl as she smiles.

"I heard she saying that she couldn't turn her back on what she believes." Kristal nods twice. "yes yes. Whatever is the reason of this, I will keep putting smiles on her face! The elf girl then chuckles and glances up to the sky. "Right?".
"Nothing is true, everything is permitted."
