Over a tankard of ale, the good cheer of Cazen belies the subject of which he speaks. "No no no, you've got it all wrong!" He shakes his head, his face flushed, the result of one-too-many. "I've nothing against Hano personally...Hells, I kinda like the guy, although he's given me little reason to, thus far."
He recounts the tale, again, for any who've arrived late of how Hano led better then half of Sundren to the Crossroads in defense of the lands against a mysterious dark knight who seemed to have the power to raise the undead. After the knight was felled, several individuals wanted to see justice done, then and there, at the end of a blade.
"But the brave Sir Hano wouldn't hear of it!" Cazen laughs, "Says the bastard has to stand trial and his fate is the purview of the Gods..." Cazen orders another round, "Well, of course it is, Hano, all of our fates are! Being a Paladin, you'd think he'd realize that the Gods use us the way we use our hands and fingers."
Shakes his head, "But enough...I've slandered his good name enough for one day, so I think I'll take a different approach, now." He raises his newly refreshed tankard of ale to the sky, "To Sir Hano! A finer Man of the Law has never Sundren known!" On that, he toasts the Paladin.
