Those who visit the Menacing Mariner before Tyrsis cleans it up, or hang around Port Avanthyr at all, will doubtless hear murmurs of a drunken bar brawl that turned deadly when Urgzak 'the Pugnacious', a half-orc mercenary who mostly does shipping work, killed three tavern-goers in a besotted rage before fleeing the scene of the crime.
Among the dead are 54-year-old Exigo miner Jorge Mayden, a friend of Prospector Harris, and 29-year-old seawoman and mother of two Trudy Haffson.
Although only possessing a rough description of the visiting orcblood, the Legion was able to quickly match the description with Urgzak's Anderson Act registration, and shortly thereafter apprehended the half-orc at the sailor's hostel near Foulbreath's where he was staying.
Urgzak's trial is set for a tenday hence. He has yet made no effort to deny the crimes, but contests "if dey's weak enuff to go all croaky wif' a li'l tap in da head, dey shouldn' be drinkin'!"
