  • The Blood that binds us.......

Rumor circulates amongst the vendor's of the Exigo concerning a foul smelling man who fell victim to a supposed illness, and a massive explosion of fire which destroyed the body leaving little, if any evidence behind.

Some say another fell victim to the illness within minutes of the man's death, but was somehow saved from certain doom by the heroic efforts of several bystanders.

Kathryn leaned against the rock, exhausted but cured of the disease that had hurt her so badly, blood still clung to her hair from when she had vomited. No disease she knew of could effect so quickly.. it had to be magic of some sort. She felt lucky to be alive.. lucky for alot of reasons.

"I may have made a mistake burning that body.. Hano's angry with me a little.. I think he'll forgive me.. I only wanted to protect the people.. I wish some of these people would leave me alone..."Thoughts pass through her mind as she sits against the rock.

    "I hope I haven't made a grave mistake..."

The bard returns to the site of the chaos several hours later, taking note of the long dry puddles of blood that had been vommited forth by Kathryn and the unfortunate gentleman who could not be saved.

In his mind, he pondered the possibilities and details of the strange sickness.

The fact that spells of dispelling saved Kathryn proved the disease was magical in nature. Then again.. it might have been Hano's blessing. Perhaps both magicks had in hand in her recovery. The thought troubled him as the last thing a quickly spread plague needed was a complicated cure.

Best to keep word from this from spreading too quickly....
