Rumors circulate about the common folk in hushed tones concerning the events that transpired within the city the previous night.

It is rumored a Thayan Wizard and his guard were seen walking through the city towards the Military ward, the body of a dead man carried upon the armored shoulders of the Knight.
The descriptions of the body vary, but it is said he wore a crown of antlers upon his brow, and that he stood eight feet tall if he were an inch.

"Eh whats that?" "A name you say?" the guard replies.
"Not sure of the blokes name, but word is he's a follower of Talos, much like the one that was killed by the Tormite Hano Fetten a few months back."
"Seems to me a fitting end if such words be true."

The guard nods respectfully, carrying on with his assigned duties.

Snow Hawk looks at Kathryn and says, "This is not the way to set things right. He still has to earn your forgiveness for his actions. A mysterious death to mysterious foes doesn't help us at all. You saw the first step to his redemption that day around the fire. I've seen the courage in him. If we turn our backs on everyone that needs help, will we be so different then them? I believe he can be saved. And I don't believe the rumors I'm hearing about him cowardly attacking people from behind. I've seen him fight. Thats not his style, he likes to get up in there face first. I swear to you Kathryn, he will be redeemed and will earn your forgiveness or die by my blades."

Snow Hawk walks into the city, not something he likes doing, and heads into the military ward.
Approaching the building where the body was taken, he hands over a signus, saying "I will pay whatever fine is required for this man's release into my care. My honor is my life and my character can be vouched for by Hano the Tormite. If he has to spend time in prison, then I will take possession of him after he leaves. I will rehabilitate him, or I will personally carry out his execution. He will be taken to the druid grove where he will be brought back into nature and given his chance at redemption for his crimes. I have seen courage in this man, and would question anyone that claims he tried to take them unaware."

Katie frowns and follows SnowHawk "Question me then Snowhawk this man took me unawares, kidnapped me and held me bound and gagged for some time. Do you question what I do for Sundren then? Do you question my honor?"

"You know I don't and we both know it was a mistake on his part. He harmed you and did you wrong, and will pay for it. He will earn your forgiveness if he has to spend eternity working towards it. " Snow turns to her and looks at her. "I'm going to tell you something now that few know. I made a mistake once. My mistake cost my entire tribe their lives. By my mistake over fifty people died. And not strangers, but people I cared for and cared for me. I have been given the chance to redeem my mistake, which grossly dwarfs what this man has done. Why should he not be given the same chance?"
