  • An end to the blight in the Viridale

Those who travel within the Viridale will note that the blight is no longer in the forest. The area where it once was is now entirely dead. It is simply a hole in the surrounding forest with nothing but cracked earth and dessicated tree stumps. The dried earth crumbles underfoot, and here and there the skeletons of animals and trees can be seen. Any who take the time to travel within it will find there is only one thing of note; an altar inscribed with the symbol of Talona sitting atop a hill in the center of the destruction.

Annie stumbles upon this patch of ground while once again looking for her badger, Mathilda. She picks her way dumbfounded through the charred remains, staring at the carnage. It is not until a few moments later that she notices the altar, tears already blurring her vision.

She turns sharply and runs for the Druid Grove. They must know what happened.
Annaleen Wiltenholm-There's always something to smile about.
Chani Kalera- Intimidation is the new diplomacy. *looms*
Eleanor "Bloody Elle" Lark - Why is the rum always gone?
Yolanda Brown - If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But unless life also gives you water and sugar, your lemonade is going to suck.
    Astrid Hammerhand - Och!

Andal makes his way to the Untrodden Grounds, upon hearing of the terrible blight that had beseiged the land. Praying to Silvanus for balance, he circled the perimeter of the deadened zone, attempting to heal and restore the earth where he could, though he was met with mostly death and decay.

Serena can be seen at times to be quietly tending to the dead areas of the forest, working to revitalize them, making them more fertile and replanting, to the best of her ablities.
