  • Traitor Sighted in the Viridale

The men at the Viridale Outpost murmur that the traitor Karthus was seen in the Viridale recently. Supposedly, several locals saw him and did nothing and alerted noone. Astonished and disappointed, their outlook on adventuring riff-raff has dropped.

Snow Hawk hears of this and chuckles
"Funny, I seem to remember sending the Tormites in there after him."
Shrugging, he walks away mumbling about how its none of his buisness anyways.

"Bah.. If only I could use a bow." Hano snarled to himself sheathing his blade. Having pursued Karthus after Snow Hawk's location and information was not enough... To a man that can fly at will his sword would be of no use. If he hoped to best Karthus he would need someone keen with a bow, or perhaps could fly.

"No matter... Your sins will catch up to you, Karthus. I will see to it one way or another." He thought looking toward the tortoise shelled bird flying away.

Lauan cries at the mention of Karthus, as if it were bringing up a bad memory. She walks away, mumbling about a sand castle.

Yashia had been too distracted with more personal matters and the safety of a certain girl in her company to even take note of Karthus' presence. When he offered the girl candy to get her where he wanted her however, the wandering fallen paladin finally saw the betrayer of mankind. She confronted him about what he had done, trying to take him into custody. She did what she could to stop him and succeeded in keeping the girl out of his grasp. She was pained to do it, but the ranger felt forced to harm the girl against her will and knock her out before she faced Karthus himself. Unfortunately, he bested her and got away, leaving both Yashia and the girl lying beyond pain on the forest floor, having lost their consciousness.

Perhaps worst of all, Lauan was infuriated for being denied her candy...
