  • Disturbance at Exigo

    ((Posted in DM capacity))
Two dark men entered the exigo trading grounds with a retinue in tow, including a undead minion. On sight of this minion the Exigo officers immediately attacked and destroyed it. The man responsible refused to remove his helm to be identified and threatend to take the head off a guard too. Hostilities broke out and many people were injured, though the man and his followers were finally brought down. Rumor has it one of the men survived and the Exigo are keeping him under lock and key in their prison pits down by Sarrahan. The other man did not survive and his body was burned to ashes to prevent animation or ressurection.
The name Neradnel was passed around.. but as of yet no positive identification has been made. Nor has it been released which man was burned and which is alive.

Hano stepped from the battlefield after the critical wounds were mended by his allies with the taste of rust and blood still fresh in his mouth. He turns briefly back to analyze the battlefield. It looked as if a Dragon had torn an army limb from limb... Yet the single driving force behind the slaughter was a single man.

"Tch..." Turning to the road he spits the remnants of blood into his glove looking to it. "Balthasar... Our Fallen Brother has been captured. He's turned his blade against us and Torm has shown him mercy by allowing him to live past this day. Though.." He trails off, starting down the road.

"Though I doubt Tyr's judgment will be so merciful toward his betrayal." The Knight limps down the road, running his fingers across the blood splattered on his armor. "Time will tell... Time will explain this odd feeling." He disappears in the distance heading toward the Triumvirate.

Lida Angelfen can be seen sitting by the campfire in exigo, obviously shaken but with a satisfied look on her face.
She can be heard telling the story of the fight to Yashia and about how she struck the killing blow to one of the men.

Ezekiel Zarek looked at the red earth where his body had lain. Only the noble actions of Tamryn had spared him from certain death.

He reflected , despite his faith in Helm, there were many foes more powerful than he was; or possibly could ever be. Helm had allowed him to gain wisdom and for this he could be thanked. He took comfort in giving what assistance he could to the necromancers capture. Grasping the symbol of Helm in his mailed hand, he resolved to be more careful and always to increase not only his faith, but his skill with the mace.

Word reaches the frigid mountains where the hag bides her time, plotting revenge against the Triumverate and the Keepers of the Grove.

"Foolish boy, he held such potential." She spat into the fire. "It will be then as it always has....I shall stand alone against the masses, and through the blessing's of the mother I shall persevere."

Her vile laughter echoed across the foothils.
Tis now the very witching time of night,
When churchyards yawn and hell itself breathes out
          Contagion to this world.
