Rumor has it that a heated exchange took place between Mittens' tribe and one claiming to be a soldier at the Schild mountain outpost. The argument seems to have stemmed from the soldier's concern that the Whitepaw tribe would agitate the Veritas into attacking the fort.
Qybox weighed in on the argument, questioning the soldier's authority and came to the conclusion that though the Sundrian legion had authority over the fort, this soldier did not hold a sufficient rank to order the Whitepaw tribe out.
Mittens also argued that the soldiers took no consideration of the druids grove and those that lived in the forest when waging punitive wars against the mossclaw tribes, and as such should not be afforded courtesy on Schild mountain with the Veritas.
The argument was cut short due to a Veritas artillery bombardment. Once the dust had settle and the wounded had been tended to, Mittens' tribe offered to strike the Veritas for their actions, unless the soldiers in the fort were going to counter attack. No soldier left the comfort and safety of their fort, and no authority was given for Mittens' tribe to strike. The Whitepaw tribe left the mountain
It seems this was not the end, though. As the Whitepaw tribe was discussing the matter at the Exigo trade post, the soldier happened by and the argument was renewed.
Onlookers noted that with much growling and baring of teeth on Mittens' part, she refused to deal any further with this soldier messenger, stating that if the chieftain of the Sundrian tribe had issues with her tribe, they would meet tribe to tribe, Chieftain to Chieftain. Furthermore that if there was concern for her tribe's conduct on Schild mountain, then there was concern for this soldiers conduct on lands not controlled by his "tribe".
Mittens decreed that she would watch for this soldier and challenge his motives and actions anytime she found him in the hunting grounds of the Whitepaw tribe.
