Rumor begins to circulate in and around the Sundren taverns of a strange creature seen only briefly through the heavy snows high atop the mountains of the Cold Climb.
Reports are sketchy at best, but it is said the beast wears the skins of many dead animals, and moves with incredible speed.
It's feral screams can be heard echoing through the canyons at night.
Reports also filter in concerning the mutilated bodies of Spittlefist Goblins being found discarded amidst the hills. Their bodies torn assunder, limbs ripped off and tossed aside. Numerous bite marks have also been observed on their mangled bodies, many of the dead goblins missing their fingers.
