Rumor has it that a man known only as Pom, who was accompanied by a panther as black as night, witness a curious and terrible sacrifice near Sestra.
One Hin carried the broken body of another to a secluded tree in a mountain valley. The tree was adorned by many trophies and offerings of mysteriously carved bones indicating some sort of mystic significance of the tree itself.
With the body placed under this tree, the Hin began arranging totems and offering of carved lizardman fangs around the deceased, while calling out for the "Great Hunter" to return the dead warrior to a hunt not yet finished.
Pom watched in horror as the Hin pulled out a knife and plunged it into her own body collapsing next to the deceased, mortally wounded; her blood flowed out under the moon and the mystic tree. The wind was noted to have picked up in gusts, carrying the great howls of beasts.
It is also rumored that both Hin were seen walking the streets of the city the following night.
