Within the druid glade ...

The elf known as Alyrian seems to have taken up a semi-permanent residence within the druid glade - rumor has it that his left arm glows unnaturally with violet light. He seems wracked by some unseen strain, and he is always exhausted and weak.

The few times he's seen outside the glade, he's been heard muttering the name "Karthus" over and over.

Snow Hawk has been gradually paying less and less attention to Alyrian and his time in the grove, as he doesn't seem to be a threat to the peace, even though he's been seen in conversation with people who were later revealed to be not so peaceful people.

The crossroads farm has been suffering from strange hazards. Stalks of grain seem to have been set alight randomly, but not for very long. Some of the charred leaves are singed a dark violet.

Alyrian seems to have made a full - and miraculous - recovery. Suddenly, his symptoms seem to have vanished, and he is once again in full control of his faculties and powers.
