A small number of tavern conversations have turned to the subject of a masked Gnome who has been seen siddling up to groups of tavern patrons in a seemingly inpet attempt at listening to their converstions. He is said to be making notes in a little book.
If challenged, the Gnome is said to escape in a number of fashions including casting a spell that removes him from sight or clicking his boots together and running away at incredible speed.
