Having taken Cadmus Runesmiths words to heart, Abigail Cestello walked among the sick in the city, doing her best to ease them of the suffering and fears.

All she could offer those infected were warm words of encourgement and to make them more comfortable.

    * Clerics from the Triumvirate and the Church of Helm oppose the hysterics of doomsdayers by politely, but firmly discounting their claims. They provide a safe haven for those in need, and tirelessly distribute medical supplies, food, and clean clothes to those afflicted and offset by the recent spread of disease.

One particular young human girl of five, both parents sadly taken by the deadly illness, rides on the shoulders of a Paladin of Helm as he makes his daily rounds, smiling for the first time in many weeks. The city bustles with the influx of people from the outside hills and forest, but for now all seem to be working together to a common end.

Many factions within the City respond. Even the Exigo Syndicate responds to calls for aid by donating bags of grain and blankets to the worthy cause. *
