More than a hundred citizens of Sundren city have been quarantined. The word is that they are dying from a disease contracted from the city bath house. It seems that the first to fall sick from this plague was one of the bath house attendents. It is well known that the temple of Helm is responsible for keeping the bath house water clean through some divine blessing (and the drinking water for the city as well). There is no indication at this stage that the city's water supply has also been affected, but a number of guards have been diverted from their usual duties to stand watch over it.

Fate of the infected
Word is that all of the citizens who contracted the plague have died. Apparently they went completely insane, and rotted to death even as they babbled and laughed gleefully. Anyone who was near the building where they were quarantined in the military district will have heard the laughter and nonsensical cries filtering out of the heavily guarded building. There was no burial for these citizens, the bodies were burned to avoid any contamination. All who had contact with the infected are currently being kept in isolation in case they have also been contaminated
There is talk that some farmers from areas afflicted by the blight have displayed similar symptoms.
