Whispers spread around exigo that corpses of men and woman are found near the cross roads. Some say they have seen a child running playfully around the area with a man in full plate armor staying near to her always.

At first word of these "rumors". Kric trys to warn local people to stay away from the child, some just laugh.

[Leaving Hope]

* The corpses in the crossroads are always found savagely beaten and smashed, as though a child tried to make them play after their beating heart had already given up. Tiny red hand prints with five digits mark the scenes, as if a child is painting their masterpiece. *

* Frighten parents continue to besiege the authorities with questions and demands for safety as the number of missing children climbs. Balthazar, ever stalwart, can be seen and heard reassuring citizens of Sundren City that their children are safe and that they have the situation under control.*

Cadmus kneels in prayer, his thoughts turning to his fallen friend. The divine aura that emenates from his hands begins to flicker dimly, providing a beacon of light in this time of darkness.

* Traveling merchants recount tales of hordes of undead moving through the forests and hills as if searching for something *

Cadmus walks the countryside, his weapon firm in his grasp, conviction and determination set in his stoic eyes.
fighting the undead hordes, his faith as strong as any shield, he searches as well.........

Dordleton remains in his shop working on fixing up that shoddy golem. He spent most of the time takin it apart and listing out the parts needed. "Not gonna be sleepin fer a while."

*Elric shakes his head as he leaves the Necropolis. He had just finished talking with his friend Landaren.*

"He has left Helm and now serves whatever dark God supports those children. It can only be a God, because a vampire could not provide the power of spells to Landaren. In fact, some of Landaren's spells seem even more powerful. I wonder what evil God is playing these games."

*After much study in the Sundren library, Elric looks up very worried*

"Indeed, when a priest turns his back on his God, he also loses the ability to cast priestly spells. I thought so, so............what evil God or Goddess is giving Landaren his powers? It cannot be a mere vampire. They can be powerful, but not that powerful."

*Elric sits and ponders.*

*Calowyn looks around nervously, as if expecting someone to stab him in the back at any moment.*

"Damn that little Devil child, she can see me and that human shade can see me most of the time."
