Rumors and gossip circulate:

• Quiet whispers and fearful glances accompany all of the rumors associated with spectres and 'spirits' that have been on the lips of the peasants. Pesons on the fringes of small communities have begun to go missing, and reports of spirit sightings are increasing.
• The trolls in the Viridale are becoming more agressive as their numbers grow. There have even been a few attacks from the carnivores as they spread out in search of more food.
• An elderly man has been circulating through the various city-states of Sundren, proclaiming the time nigh for action and seeking champions for some 'higher cause'.
• The Church of Kelemvor near the Necropolis has reported a decrease in undead and related Dark Advent activity. While the respite is not unwelcome, the Justiciars fear that such activities are the calm before an even more deadly storm to come.
• A man near Setra claims to have seen a coven of witches performing some dreadful ritual involving a human sacrifice and burning offerings at the peak of a copse under the black moon, though there were no signs of such activity when guards arrived on the scene in the morn.

• Two men were found stripped and decapitated in a ditch on the road not far from Port Avanthyr, the heads have not been found.
