  • A Death in the Family

Rumors spread quickly from the farm at the crossroads that Tamara Roth, 23, the founder of the Scarlet Lions, was killed by the vampire Hadavi and drained until she was reanimated as a mindless thrall, which was duly destroyed by the sunlight.

The motive for the sudden move against her and the Lions is not entirely clear. Some speculate that the death of a prominent leader among adventurers is enough, others whisper rumors that she converted to the Black Hand but then returned to her old faith, marking her for death. There are more than a few that view this as yet another slip along the path to dark times, and also more than a few that are really just as glad to see her gone.

Lihana Farrier, Paladin of Torm and noble dalliance

On Hold: Alandriel Ward, Actually a Vampire Groupie
Retired for Good: Tamryn Jorandur, Hano's Wife and Conflicted Soul

Salisse frowns at the news, as a single tear drop falls onto the floor, and she mummurs sadly, Goodbye Tam... Not everyone is smart enough to recogonize true good from evil, it seems. You almost did. She sighs and walks off.

Hearing the whispers of her death, she wraped herself up in her heavy cloak n' hood and left the city until she reached the spine. Accending a bit of the mountian, she stood alone in thought. Without a word, or a tear, a look of sadness, or happyness, she took out a rode from her robe and planted it in the snowy bank and decended back down the mountian.
Sacrifice everything as the final darkness falls... in the end, all that awaits you is death. Only then will you understand - you've been following in my footsteps all along.
So come then, you heroes! Come in all your power and glory! For in the final hour, all must serve the one... true... king.

From within her room Rook cackles with a bizarre glee.
"Tamara dead!" She says with a slightly twisted smile, "That is good news.... though...." She frowns and leans back in her chair, running her hand through her hair and staring at the candle-light shadows dancing on the wall, "She was a good soldier...."

A hollow eyed Ember Egan was last seen marching off towards Viridale Forest, clutching a greatsword that drips corrosive liquid in one hand, and an ill-fashioned wooden stake in the other.

Few, if any, know of her fate.

            She'la:

I read this now not really knowing you very well. I have tried to get to know you, however you always were to buisy for me. The one time I did need you you were there. I supose your life is over. Its sad I never really got to know you. I have heard so many good and so many bad things about you. I was really hoping for the chance to sort them out myself.

Perhaps these rumors are just that. Perhaps we will still get that chance. We shall see.

Farewell for now, Goodbyes are not for ever.
