  • Fight Night

Around Sundren City's numerous taverns and Inns there are talks of an upcoming event to be held at Jimmy's Dice Table in the Entertainment District, a 'Fight Night' where contenders will do battle in the cage for a yet-to-be-disclosed grand prize as well as a cash reward.

A few days later, posters go up in alleyways and less-scrupulous watering holes advertising the event:

    FIGHT NIGHT

In a few days time, Jimmy's Dice Table will be holding one of the infamous Fight Nights with the grand champion receiving a prize and 5,000 Sundarian Stags, and the runner up receiving 5,000 Stags to call their own.
Drinks, food and the like will be suppliedfor a priceat the bar tended to by our gracious host.

The rounds will not be a fight to the death, and no weapons or magic is to be used - with some exceptions. FISTS ONLY. Any additional rules will be explained on-site.

    Sign up at the event.

    COME ONE, COME ALL!

    -J.

[Current set date is: 6pm 06/11/07 U.S. West Coast Standard Time (GMT-8)]

*Drado stares the poster up and down several times, pulling his mustache*

I suppose if I see Brago I will tell him about this. From the way he fights, I am certain he could easily win a fisticuff tournament.

[Postponed again to the same time tomorrow - the 7/11/07.
Reasons are multiple: Mainly, the server crashes and the fact that I'm working on limited time mean that it's currently not feasible.]

Rook. Sigrun took second place by a nose.

                    Real close fight.

Word spreads through Sundren about the spectacular final round between Lyonette "Rook" Le' Cyir and Sigrun Hael. The commonly told tale depicts the match as a very close battle, Lyonette Only triumphing due to her adherance to a defensive style.

What is more interesting, however, is that during the aftermath of the match Lyonette was asked if she would spare Sigrun's life. She, at first, attempted to have him bargain for his life, then became disinterested and simply walked out of the ring, exclaiming
"Let him have his life. It would be a waste to kill him."
~Lyonette L'cyr (Rook)-- Deader than Malaclypse

Guys just as a reminder this thread is in character and I see more than one OOC post.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
