Apprentice Casmot with Knight Romar and Garion as his escort, are sent throughout the valley that allow Thayans access, to drum up recruits for the Engineering Corps. Starting with Aquor, they then leave for the rest of the valley for town bars, marketplaces and lastly the refuge camps of Cheapside. The following message is read aloud at each location.
Apprentice Casmot is given the quota of one-hundred able bodied workers for the time being.
This message is to those here who are without work and have the determination and will to go out and earn a well paying, good and honest job. The town of Aquor is seeking able body men and women for new labor jobs. You will be trained by experts and given proper work cloths. All workers will be well paid and will be able to afford comfortable communal housing. You may be asking:
"But how will I reach Aquor on my own? The roads are unsafe! What about my family!"
If you wish to seek employment, now is the time to leave. Myself and Knight Romar and Garion will escort a limited number of you who we deem fit and capable for the journey, to Aquor. There you will be given the opportunity to sign on to the 'Aquor Engineering Corps' and if you accept the terms will begin work.
Due to limited housing, family members may not be able to accompany you at this time. If you sign on, you may request that a portion of your pay is given to your family each tenday through our banking contacts in the respective city/town locations. If you invest your pay properly you may afford moving your family at a later date.
Those who believe they fit the criteria and have made their decisions may approach and if approved we will be on our way shortly.
