Word would spread about Avanthyr that many if not all of the market stalls selling clothing and survival supplies that morning were bought out by an odd looking Elf.
The Elf was dressed in armour composed of an assortment of animal hides, and sported a mane of long white hair. He moved with determination from stall to stall, inspecting the goods thoroughly but with practiced efficiency, wrinkling his nose a little when something failed to meet his stringent criteria.
He was said to have purchased mainly clothing of a kind suitable to the colder climes of the Valley’s Northern regions, as well as supplies such as fishing rods, nets, traps, tools for woodworking and even a few longbows and arrows.
All of the supplies were of decent quality, though little attention was payed to aesthetics. Foods that were purchased included dried salted meat, trail biscuits, sour wine and strangely enough, honey.
Later it is claimed the Elf was seen conversing with a wide-eyed caravan owner before handing him a heavy-looking coin purse and departing. The caravaneer was later heard ordering the supplies be loaded up, and then sent a boy to fetch some off-duty caravan guards from the Mariner.
The caravan reportedly departed Avanthyr heading in a Northerly direction.
((Total value of goods, as well as wages paid to caravaneer and guards equals 120,000 stags))
