A solitary ranger, a few scattered Exigo employees and the terrified yelps of the beast tribes of the Viridale were all that witnessed - some more than others - the temporary madness of the forest.
According to the ranger, fel trolls and unspeakable shadows fought burning giants and moving trees. The Exigo can only recall the horrors of a resounding cry, their perception of time halted for several hours after it.
The tribes pass the moment that unseen, unspoken forces met in battle as fearful story on to their litters. Only the unseen, the sometimes heard and the always feared shadows that linger behind teeth and enchantment know in full the weight of what's transpired.
