  • Adventuring Gossip, Rumors on the Road

    Blood in the air:

Rumors quickly filter through the gossip of the road. Word of mouth spreading tales in taverns and inns known to house the various castes of adventurers in the Valley. A horrific scene was splayed out along the roads not far from the abandoned Exigo Trading Post, and only a few short hours from the Hellstrom Estate. Many claim the carnage so savage and gruesome that it could not have been committed by any creature of this realm; it was the work of Demons.

What most of these tales share, is that a caravan of no less then three wagons and nearly two-dozen men and women was savagely attacked and set to the flame. The bodies mutilated and some sundered so terribly they could not even be identified as human. They also claim the trail of carnage did not stop there, with reports of smaller isolated incidents linked to this attack spreading in nearly every direction...

    Wild Wild Valley

Beyond the comfort wealthy adventurers, nobles, and heroes of the valley can afford, the majority of the people still stand poor and hungry. Bandits, orcs, gnolls, goblins, demons, and other foul beings continue to plague the land as the civil had fled to the cities for protection after the Second Sundering. Trade routes everywhere are often threatened and former battle grounds looted by all sorts of vagabonds and societies bottom feeders.

      The Brimstone Bard

Rumors fly like wildfire that Lord Kieran Zenten, son of the Lord Miro, has named House Zenten patron of the Brimstone Bard, Merry Smith. It's said that the bard impressed the young noble with a series of ever escalating challenges and performances that stole both breath and imagination.

It's said Miro Zenten is none too pleased at becoming the sponsor of a woman of uncertain heritage, and now works to undo the arrangement as quickly as he can.
