For every inch of space that is not occupied by the order, the Meriadoc militia keeps a collection of their own supplies and hastily assembled bunks for any overflow of troops.
The founder and self-titled Grandmaster of this new order, Lord Esmond Aurelianus, addresses only a single curious group before retreating into the solitude of a makeshift office.
"The Order of the Northern Watch is here to serve in the war effort in conjunction with the Avanthyr militia and Helmite Justices that patrol the main road. Our members are a conglomerate of high ranking officials from Sundren's goodly temples and formerly unaffiliated heroes and veterans of the ongoing conflict. Please address matters of law and crime as always to the relevant authorities, of which in Avanthyr your militia is the most prudent before a knight. Those with military experience interested in aiding the order as a man-at-arms should speak with any one of several sergeants within the barracks."
His exit is duly accentuated with the proclaimed blessing of all goodly patron gods of Avanthyr and the Northern Watch.
