* Up and down the Pioneers way rumor has begun to spread about a miracle of nature taking place within the valley, gossips and farmers traveling the dangerous roads speak of the old Heywood farmstead that sits upon the crossroads between the Hellstrom castle, Exigo trade hub and the Second Wind Inn. The lands around the farmstead, which have until recently been infertile and unproductive have begun to show signs of life once more, this burst of life has been directly related to a sudden and unusual formation of heavy clouds that poured huge amounts of rain upon the crossroads area.*
* Even greater rumors persist, for 'eye witnesses' claim to have seen two holy men search the old farmstead where it is said that they eventually found the skeletal remains of an adult male scattered around the back of the barn, many whisper the remains show signs of a brutal death. Worse still is the discovery of another set of adult remains that were found in a corner of the farmsteads basement, this second skeleton is claimed to have been found clutching two much smaller sets of remains in what appeared to be a final, loving embrace, the remains have since been collected by the two unidentified holy men and have been laid to rest with full burial rites. Local villagers and common folk have begun to pray for the Heywood family that they might finally find their true place of rest.*
