Legion Patrols have picked up as of late, and are patrolling near Sunderer's Gate and the City. Myrkulite and Banite patrols have been about as well, and it's only a matter of time before they meet.
((This patrol event is for Legion faction and subfactions, and Black Hand faction and subfactions only. Leaders will be chosen depending on who shows up. Please, please PM me if you're going to attend. Wednesday at 7:30 PM EST))
Phase One: This is a slightly OOC phase, as it determines starting points and troop count. While each of you have a certain number of troops as per part of the numbers that we DM's have, they won't come into play because of a few considerations, mainly being I don't want to diminish them unfairly. So, instead, we have Phase One.
In this phase, each side will decide on a small, four PC (depending on player count) team. Each team will be placed on a map, on separate sides from one another. In between you all will be several encounters of enemy hostiles, each with a mini-boss. Each mini-boss has a token. Your job, as this 'vanguard' group, is to capture as many of these tokens as possible and return to your base alive. Assuming you run into the other team, and someone is grievously wounded from one side with a token in their possession, it'll default to the other team. You must have every living (not necessarily incapacitated) member of your team at base to consider the round over for your team.
Phase Two: Whomever has the most tokens when they reach their base is able to pick starting positions for their side on the map first, has a multiplier of NPC troops to represent the more advantageous positioning, and the ability to swap on previous member from Phase One onto Phase two. Finally, if there was a TPK in Phase One, the winning team will be allowed one buff spell per PC before battle. The remaining PC's, as in the ones who did not participate in Phase One, will participate in this phase as the leaders of the troops. The PC's who did participate in Phase One will be unable to take place in the battle, or offer aid beforehand unless their team won, in which case they can sub one PC. Finally, unless there was a TPK in Phase One, both teams will be unable to buff until I start the actual fight.
