  • Words of the Dark Father

Papers are posted around Sestra, and other areas where there are not known to be much Legion activity. A few are posted in various other areas as well, in hopes that perhaps there will be those that read them.

Many of you out there are told to fear the night. This need not be true. I am willing to guide you all in the ways of the Dark Father. If you are willing to devote your time, and allow me to show you the ways of Colibrus, then nobility can be within your reach. Give tribute, and you will be greatly rewarded for it.

If you are willing to listen, then seek me in Sestra when the moon rises. I will be in the graveyard outside of the temple of Jergal.

Treading a lonely road on his return to Mirakus, a certain skull-clad hin notices a propaganda leaflet stuck high on a tree above his reach. A few dozen splintering blows from his howling great-axe later, Xaayne retrieves the parchment from the tree's shattered husk and destroys it.

On his return to Mirakus he searches through the area for any more such postings, removing them with hasty aplomb.

"Freakin' 'pires." Is heard to be his stance on the issue.
Xaayne Zek: The man with no name.

Duncan Valentine stared at one of these posters for a long while, eventually tugging it down and rolling it up to place within his satchel. No emotions played out on his countenance as he strolled down the road that would take him to Sestra, a hand firmly placed to the pommel of his blade. He knew what he had to do.
Step in front of a runaway train -
      just to feel alive again.
      Pushing forward through the night,
      aching chest and blurry sight.

It's so far, so far away~

Cold wind blows into the skin,
can't believe the state you're in.

Clive pauses to read a poster.

"What a sweet child, caring to raise the peasants to nobility." he snarls sarcastically.
Then with a flash of fury and a clenched fist, he snaps.
"In Fear they will be taught to kneel to their Master." "And the burden of Hate will choke the breath from their living flesh!" "Their cries of terror will be heard even in Banehold, so I swear!"

Enraged and his mood blacked by foolishness, he slips off into the night to seek a victim to pacify his fury.

A fight occurred in the Jergal graveyard one of the evenings. A young man, proclaiming to be a warrior of the Loyal Fury, challenged Ruby with one of her noticed clutched in his hand. He declared to be the one who would end her, and she laughed right in his face. He charged the undead woman, and it was not long after that he fell to the ground, bruised and bloody.

The man was subsequently escorted out of Sestra, blood streaming down his neck from an obvious bite wound.

Further posters are additionally posted about, with a small addition to them.
For those who prove to not be worthy of such a gift, their tributes will be taken. You've been warned.

Duncan would be seen travelling the road from Sestra - a whole lot worse than how he went in. Gaping sword wounds tattered the front of the tunic he donned in his travels, and he indeed sported a bite on the jugular. He travelled in short spurts, stopping now and then to tend to his wounds. Upon his countenance he wore a look of shame - likely from failing his personal quest to rid an evil creature from the realm.
