Mark of the Bloodmaim

Travelers uncover a terrifying scene not far outside the second wind. The body of a Bloodmaim scout and four of it's infernal tracking hounds. The wounds were incredibly precise, a true swordsman's work..

Rumors fly about taverns both on land and in the sky. Some say the Bloodmaim are returning to lay waste to the land, while the naysayers blow it off as stragglers. Cut off from the rest of the Orcs as they returned to their Forest home..

Again word travels through Sundren like wildfire. Bloodmaim spotted south of the Mossdale. Some details are sketchy, but all agree that the new Exigo funded outpost on Schild Mountain was brutally attacked. Goods were set to the torch, and a number of the occupants were killed in the fighting.

The stories go on that runners from the outpost made it past the Orcs to warn the forces stationed at the Trade Post, who in turn enlisted the aid of adventurers while en route to notify the Legion of the activity. Upon arrival the arrival of this group, they were met with the aftermath of what must have been a desperate fight. The strangest part of the story, some say, is that the Orcs seemed to come out in full once the party arrived. Like they were waiting for them....
