Shaking in your boots!

Various Inns, taverns and other locals where not only people, but people with intellectual interest in odd things (especially around the University and Library where student thirsty for knowledge and trying to figure out new and odd puzzling events), a collection of Old and young, men and woman who seem to have some ideas about the tremors talk and listen about what fantastical theories that people may have, the students especially.

"You know what I heard? I heard it was some type of subterranean bird that sings and chirps that's causing it!"

"My father is a miner, and he said that ever time there is a tremor, these songs and chirps stop. Lots and lots of stuff gets passed in stone he said, just ask a dwarf! They hear lots of stuff!"

"Deep in the heart of the earth young ones are things that we dare not know. Things that make noise that can be heard through rock and stone. Things that sing, and when they stop singing, cause horrible tremors to occur, do not go seeking the songs, but if you do, be careful... who knows that lurks below young ones!"

"Saw a huge worm, all purple and charred scared right out of the ground and died of a heartattack! Ate well that week I tell ya... something good about them quakes, throws up meat right out of the ground ready cooked!"
