"To ensure fair distribution of food to those who need it and to discourage those who might hoard vital supplies or seek to profit from the misfortune and suffering of others we have no choice but to implement rationing across this city."

"All citizens are required to register and receive their ration book. Without this ration book you will be unable to purchase food within the city. In order to cope with the registration demand the Legion will be setting up temporary registration points in each district. All citizens have a week to register."

"The attacks against our men will not go unpunished. We have descriptions of many involved in last nights riots and we will find them. To all those involved who do not willingly hand themselves over to the Legion punishments will be severe."

If you believe family, friends or neighbors are harboring ILLEGAL REFUGEES

rationing is now in effect.

Each citizen must report to their nearest LEGION FACILITY to receive
their RATION BOOK.

You and every member of your family MUST carry your
IDENTIFICATION PAPERS and RATION BOOK on your person AT ALL TIMES

Ration books MUST be produced in order to purchase the following items:
Water, Bread, Flour, Fruit, Vegetables, Suger, Butter, Chocolate, Cloth and Clothing,
Pulses, Cereals and Grain, Cheese, Eggs, Lard, Dried Fruit, Biscuits, Tea, Coffee,
Meat of Horse, Pig, Cow and Chicken, Jams and Preserves, Medical supplies.
In quantities advised in your ration book.

MEDICAL SUPPLIES, MAGICAL GOODS and SERVICES must be approved
by legitimate LEGION AUTHORITY before being offered for sale.

Citizens are encouraged to grow their own food to supplement their purchased rations.

The COPYING or FORGERY of RATION BOOKS,
HORDING of RATIONED ITEMS for personal use,
Offering RATIONED ITEMS for sale without rationing or permission,
DISTRIBUTION of RATIONED ITEMS outside of LEGION channels,
any MISUSE of RATION BOOKS,

LOOTING, INCITEMENT, or PRAISING UNLAWFUL DEITIES,
DISOBEDIENCE or ASSAULT of any LEGION or STATE FORCES
will be subject to PUNISHMENT BY HANGING
at the discretion of a responsible official.

New posters are added, though not without looks of apprehension from those adding the posters.

If questioned the Legionaries pasting them into place resignedly answer that these are tough times and no source of food should be overlooked. Anything is better than starving.

Rats are a valuable source of protein and are readily available.
Care should be taken when capturing rats, gloves should be worn.

Rats should be skinned and internal organs removed and discarded.
Cleaned and skinned rats should be immersed in clean boiling water until flesh separates from bones.
Remove bones.

Add available vegetables or grain to make a healthy broth.
Eight rats prepared in this manner will feed a family of four for a day.
