  • Legion Humanitarian Efforts Spread

It is rumored that a small group of Tenth Legionnaires ventured into the Cheapside of Sundren City at the behest of Myrios Blackwell, although the Iron Fist herself was not a part of the endeavor. The Legionnaires distributed cartloads of needed supplies to the mass of refugees, and several of the misplaced people opted to join the Legion following the display of compassion.

Myrios Blackwell has openly stated that despite the setbacks brought upon the State by the Black Hand and Bloodmaim, the Legion remains steadfast in its pledge to protect the nation from all enemies.

An anonymous and masked member of the Tenth Legion makes a routine trip in the Cheapside daily. Though, not part of Myrios Blackwell's official humanitarian efforts to feed the massive number of refugees, the Legionnaire is seen handing out bowls of gruel and his own rations to those who may not have received any aid.

Though the gruel tastes of warm, wet cardboard, it is highly nourishing. The source of the gruel, a magical Sustaining Spoon, spawns exactly enough of it to feed four people per day.

Along with the work in Cheapside, the Port is also a target of the legions generosity, or so it is speculated.

An Ilmatari Sesquiplicarius Clinicus is seen traversing through the town making inquiries about various abandoned soon to be abandoned buildings and warehouses within the city that are not under control of the House Meriadoc. If questioned about this activity by anyone in the house (retainers) she simply informs them that she has been commissioned to find a space for a hospital within the walls of the Port for the people of the Port and those at large in the valley. If pressed on who will operate the Hospital or it's purpose she reiterates the need for healers to be among the people now and that she is given to understand that the House does not wish to work with the Legion in this endeavor. She follows this up immediately asking that if she is misinformed on this to let the leaders of the House to get ahold of her so that they can work together for the aid of the people.

She continues along her scouting, making notes on various buildings and inspecting them for soundness, telling people passing by looking at the well armoured Legionnaire that there will be a Hospital and Clinic in the Port in due time.

Even with the unrest in Cheapside, the Clinicus still tries to find those that cannot get out by themselves to ensure that they get somewhere where they can get the required ration books that they need to survive.

Rumor also speaks of citizens who are more fortunate chipping in to do their part. Word spreads that a well dressed man, introducing himself only as Peter, helps with the lines being served, and passing out a few clean blankets.
