The young Lathanderite Artemis sees the post and immediately sets off for Aventhyr. She is determined to help the survivors she was powerless to protect from the Banites.

A gnome sometimes, but not often, can be seen between the two towns; occasionally helping refugees directly, sometimes merely clearing the way before them from Privateers and brigands. Rarely do the refugees know he does the latter unless his prey makes a noise before they meet their end. The shadows and bushes become a dangerous place for the brigands to hide.
