Report - Bloodmaim Activity

To the Authorities in Sundren:
While travelling from the Gate of the Sunderer, I encountered a group of Blloodmaim orcs on the Pioneer's Way. When I arrived, they were killing a group of bandits. They had also set fire to the abandoned Exigo Wagon just over the bridge.

The group consisted of two Bloodmaim fighters and a Necromancer. They were accompanied by a small group of Grimaxe orcs, confirming the rumour that the Grimaxe have been absorbed into the Bloodmaim.

All but one of the orcs were disposed of. The Necromancer was a difficult battle. However I was able to damage him sufficiently that he chose to use magic to flee the fight.

This is clear evidence, in my opinion, that the Bloodmaim activity is increasing.

*A report issued to The Glade to Lord Iauron*

A small group, a Bloodmaim leading two trolls was encountered near the Glade and defeated with the help of the elven Nadril and surprisingly a heavy clad HalfOrc whose name was never uttered.

The Bloodmaim's group was without fear being so bold to make use of the campground in the forest near the Glade. Lord Iauron has sent Rangers too scout out the many caves in the area too find if one is deep enough that contains the Trollkin that were acquired by the Bloodmaim.

***Writeup report from Magus J. Frazer to Captain Rixen, Legion Scouting Outpost***

Captain,

I have confirmed that the Bloodmaim are constructing siege-engines within the Viridale. During a recent deep-scouting patrol with another arcanist by the name Nadril Ilphukiir, we located a taskforce of Bloodmaim who were using Mossclaw thralls to construct a pair of breaching towers (observational schematics attached) near the gnoll palisade. The contingent and engines were destroyed on site, and the lumber prepared for further construction has been made unavailable to the Bloodmaim. I fear that this was only one of many such sites throught the Viridale, but as previously discussed, torching the forest is tactically sound while being strategically and politically ill-advised, and its decision should be left to those in a position to view and deal with such ramifications.

Should I be required, I shall be examining examining the construction if these structures from the schematics I drafted at the site, in addition to the research and development I am currently undertaking.
