Paladin Enamored with Necromancer!

An odd gnome has been sighted recently at the Half-Pint, Jimmy's Dice Table, the Drunken Dragon, the Second Wind, and other public houses, happily informing any and all who ask for (or look like they could use) juicy gossip about the known Paladin of Torm. The gnome tells that he has been seeking the affection of the Gravekeeper of Sestra, a Necromancer and Spirit-summoner known to the Legion. He has apparently asked for her ribbon, and the gnome quite easily crafts a gripping tale of a man of the faith drawn to the edge of his sacred vows, seeking the romantic attention of the withdrawn and off-limits elf that haunts the tombstones. The gnome quotes the Paladin as saying: " I shall, the Unwanted Champion, I shall do my best for you Lasvi, by my word and as I wear this ring you give." He apparently calls her 'My Patron' and engages in long heart-to-heart conversations, dispite receving a cold shoulder from the Dirgesinger. After telling one person, the gnome skips off to find another willing to listen.

Upon overhearing these rumors, Paddy begins to doubt the trustworthiness of the entire population of Paladins in Sundren. He opines quietly, and to himself, Paladins engage in entirely too many romantic endeavors for which there are little to no consequences.

He could be overheard asking himself... "when was the last time one fell?" as he walked on his way.

On one particular outing, Master Zesiro of the Lathanderite temple was reported as 'laughing so hard she squirted milk out her nose' upon hearing the rumor. Upon request at her temple, Anasath would freely admit that yes, that was her and the absurdity of some rumors never fails to amaze her.

Faucon De'Ombre frowns at hearing the rumor, reminding the citizen he hears it from that spreading insidious rumors about Paladins is an affront to the Gods and illegal. He then heads to the legion head-quarters to check on some facts.

In answering for Kasso you forgot to mention why Anasath would "freely admit that yes that was her..." and why the Lathanderite Temple would request her to lie.

Eirimil scoffs at the rumours, making himself very vocal in reminding everyone within earshot that the young Lasvi was proven to not be a necromancer, or spirit-summoner of any form in spite of the false allegations senselessly brought against her. In addition, as a proper elf, she would never have any interest in any filthy human.

Centurio Blackwell snorts a laugh when the 'rumor' finally reaches her ears. If asked by anyone what she thinks, considering her brother could be the paladin in question, the Legionnaire responds as follows: "I am still a bard; I know all too well how stories get exaggerated in order to gain public interest. The fact that someone still feels safe enough to waste time with such nonsense is all that concerns me."

After a short outing to check on the progress of the rumors and the various responces of the populace, a rather plump hin chuckles to themselves, wandering down the Pioneer's Way rhyming in a faint whisper:

There is a light that shines so bright that it blinds all who stand near,
For when lies are held with faith they meld, and truth is shown insincere.

Shortly thereafter, the hin stumbles into a bush, not to be seen for quite a while.
