East of the capital, in a remote area that the local people had come to relate as the Necropolis, a commotion was heard in the days past. Across the graves had gathered bleak energy that priests of Myrkul present attempted and failed to quell, in the end they were in fact consumed by them. The situation only grew more complex as a group of some of Sundren's most prominent figures, accompanied by the Judicator of Wrath, Salararius Emiliana Blackwell, Tigen Amastacia, and Brigadier Kyle Rendell... The leader of the group was a less known sun elf vocalist identified most commonly by her first name; Lasvi.
The group entered the necropolis, and a powerful wave of Negative energy began to congregate and disperse over the graveyards and the surrounding landscape. By the time the group left, none injured save Lasvi, who'd seemingly lost consciousness, black felines were seen wildly rushing down and crushing the undead and Myrkulites alike. By the time the next eve had come there was not a trace of unlife left in the graveyard and the ebony lions had dispersed or faded entirely from existence... Though the vile energy lingered, and in time the dead began to rise anew.
