The following letter is distributed to all Exigo and Blackwood Employees and posted on noticeboards across the land.

Friends,

I am sure that like me you've found these past weeks and months to be hard ones. The Luskan Menace casts its dark shadow over us, menacing us in our homes, our places of work, and places of trade.

Like you I have watched the prices rise and the resources dwindle, I watched the money in my pockets become a little more worthless each day.

There is a lesson we must all learn from our time under siege; self-sufficiency.

We, you and I, live atop a great reserve of wealth, both financial and spiritual. Yet we have been content to let it sit idle and undisturbed.

The Luskans have shown us that this situation is untenable, the citizens of this nation must seize the initiative, use the great resources our proud nation has and show through hard work and diligence that piracy and murder will not be tolerated.

We at Exigo Syndicate will work hard with you, paying fair money for fair work, offering you a chance to develop your skills, talents and trades.

Exigo will be undertaking exploratory expeditions into several areas of Sundren in the coming weeks with an eye to strengthening our great nation. If you have the skills to aid in our work, contact Exigo immediately.

The ground shakes faintly as the thunderous footsteps of a huge, glowing-eyed creature pass by one of the discarded signs blowing in the breeze.

It kneels, looking the paper over for any interesting pictures, unable to read the texts. Still, it roughly folds the scrap up and thuds onwards to the forest, to find one of those who can.

Anzhela notices the message and thinks about it for a few hours before seeking out an Exigo representative.

*Tery Mard reads the notice. After spending some time considering possibilities over an ale at the Half Pint, he pens a reply and leaves it at Exigo Headquarters.*

To Adrian Readan and the Exigo Syndicate:

I wish to offer my services in the above-mentioned enterprises. If you find me to be suitable, I can be available. I must point out, though, that I am not an Exigo member and have duties with other organizations. I must restrict my availability to times that will not interfere with these duties.

If I can be of use under this condition, please contact me outside the Second Wind Inn or at Corps de Grace Headquarters in Sestra.
