  • Farming Problems

Several small farming communities around the valley are reporting that they are experiencing a strange crop failure and sudden increase in livestock illness.

Legion response is slow at this time, as most of their efforts are focused on border defense and the escalating situation with the Luskan attacks.

Upon hearing the rumors, Maia attempts to narrow down where the problem areas are and goes there herself to inquire with the farmers about the situation.

While only armed with only a handful of nature spells to help against such sickness and more familiar with the wilds rather than tamed fields, the elven ranger intends to note down what observations she can and then share them with the Chauntean priests both in the Glade and at Sestra's Shrine of Chauntea so that some response may be made while the problem is still in its infancy.

Joyous, if tight-lipped farmers celebrate a resolution to some of their problems! While a great deal of damage had already been done, the spreading sickness seems to have at least been contained, if not reversed. While a harrowing year lay ahead in the aftermath of the disaster, for now, there is an air of relief and unity. Community leaders, while reserved to tell outsiders about their decision, agree they made the right choice.

In other news, bandit activity in the outlying area has dropped dramatically.
