In public establishments throughout Sundren City, Aquor, Sestra, Port Avanthyr, the Second Wind, and Exigo, yellowed parchment handbills are appearing on bulletin board. Text and images penned in dark black ink, the tops of the bills are framed by a billowing storm-front - three lightning bolts issuing forth down the middle and edges of the page. The bottom tip of the central bolt forms the column of the letter "T" in the word "JUSTICE", prominently written across the center of the bill in a large, bold, Gothic block-letter font.

Beneath, a fine, looping hand reads:

"There is more to protecting Sundren's people than simply upholding the letter of its laws. Everyone deserves to have justice done on their behalf - not to be pushed by the wayside for the "greater good". Hope: a chance for justice exists for the downtrodden and oppressed if one knows where to seek it out. To find an audience, find the standing stones where all roads in Sundren meet. Place your petition on the ground before them, weighted with three small stones. We will find your plea."

((Please feel free to send an IC forum PM detailing any petitions for an audience.))

Kaizen makes it a point (a very, very, very, vocal point) to all, that despite the three lightning bolts and the billowing storm front, that this is not his doing.

    At all.

To enunciate the point further, he cordially reminds everyone that he doesn't know what the word 'justice' means.

Dain chances upon one of the notices as he makes his way to his room at the Second Wind. His eyes narrow further the more he reads, and he finishes with a just audible groan, or perhaps a regretful sigh.

      "Hoar..."

He ponders the symbol on the back of his right gauntlet, the scales of the Even-Handed.

Cruven spots one of the notices in the Exigo post and reads over it before tearing it down as me mutters something about people illegally posting notices on private property.

Plutarch stands next to his fellow Warden looking pleased to have his friend back. He gleefully looks like nine kinds of trouble waiting to happen. Every time someone mentions justice, he puts on an eyepatch, crosses his arms over his chest and looks sternly at everyone in his range of view.

Eventually, with Fullgrin at his side, Kaizen's incessant yelling that these posters are not his doing turn into random hoots of laughter and making crude remarks to any passing elves.

He also notes to Plutarch that the feral hin makes a very fine Peridan Twilight, except better and tougher looking.

Peridan passes by the sign and mutters.

              "Damn vigilantes."

He also glares at Kaizen and Plutarch before striding away, muttering and smoking a cheap looking cigar.

Peridan Twilight, one-eyed dog of the Legion, deceased.

Lysandra Blackwell, finishing up her patrol and passing the Second Wind Inn , sees the notice posted just outside there.

"These damnable vigilantes wouldn't know what justice is until it gave them a swift kick in the ass," she grumbles, yanking the notice right off the bulletin board. "And hopefully, that will happen soon."

She turns rigidly and, being done with her patrol, immediately heads towards the Legion Barracks in the city to show the notice to her superiors.

A mysterious person wearing a red mask with red hair and dark armor is seen placing notes with three stones on top in various rock formations throughout Sundren. The note reads:

"Greetings friend and ally. I am known as the Kara-Turian, a sword saint from the far East. Long have I awaited for a hero such as yourself to emerge. I have fought for true justice in the past on many occasions by myself and discovered that it was impossible to do so alone, even with my unparalleled skill with the katana. But your arrival and words has rekindled the flame in my heart for true justice and I have decided to come out of seclusion and aid you in your plight. No longer do we need to face the villains of Sundren alone. Now we are two, and we will make a difference. Do not seek me out, you will not find me, for I work in mysterious ways. Instead I shall find you. Sayonara for now!

Signed, Kara-Turian, Mysterious Sword Saint from the Far East

P.S. For anyone who finds this letter, please place it on the standing stones where all roads meet(where ever that may be), and place three stones on top of the note. Thanks."

An eight foot tall mountain of halfblood woman moves in her usual unstoppable stride past a tree with a note on it.

She gives it half a look, remembers she's utterly illiterate, and tears down the paper for later use as kindling, moving away before more people start trying to speak to her in big words and threatening to kill her for not having papers.

Running across the mountains, attacking with an oversized scalpel, cometh Helga Great-Wyrm! And she gives a mighty bellow:
"Brace yourself, oh human speck of dust! You are made of meat and I am very hungry!"
