  • Druid's lament

Falmari the druid has been seen huffing and puffing his way around the Sundren legion barracks waiting for someone to take his plee seriously.

"They attacked Kaim and I, no reason. Some crazy dwarf talking to herself about a ghost, another crazy and downright ugly dwarf and... it looked like a blackened elf, Blackened by his dark sorcery I tell you! These evil renegades must be brought to justice."

After having paced the halls in many passes and told the same story countless times falmari was content to leave the legion alone ~ for now.

It is said, that the group of mercenaries belonging to the Blackwood Company was attacked by the devilish walking tree in a little village nearly the Argyle Keep. By the eye-witness, dwarven warrior Kili, were the heroes on their promotional tour across the eastern lands, when they approached the picturesque village. To their surprise the inhabitants attacked the adventurers almost instantly. According the heroine were the poor poeple cursed by the wicked"ghostly" tree, what was hunting them and smashing with its branches and roots. The dwarven warrior and her companions tried to stop the monster, but it was too late for many of the poor villagers already fell. The battle was ferocious and ruthless, but when the sunset came, the merciless enemy was defeated. By the farmers spreading this story, the devilish tree facing its own doom changed its shape into an elf and run away promissing the brave adventurers the revenge.

The dwarven heroine allegedly stated, that their victory was possible only due the quality of their equipment, made by the best Exigo craftsmen and delivered by the Blackwood Company. The woman also reputedly warned the farmers not to enter the mentioned village and promissed to arrange the delivery of the best Exigo axes to help the poor farmers in the surroundings of Argyle Keep to defend themselves against the trees. Chopping down of all trees near their homes and barns was recommended.

The rumours of the warrior kili and her bunch of 'heroes' reach the ears of Falmari.

"So my assailant has a name and the blackwood company are behind this."
      He frowns.
"Im not devilish or ghostly. And I am an elf... I think. They were killing the maddened peasents when Kaim and I got there. I will talk to this blackwood company!"
